As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak escalates, the Government has now recommended social distancing in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. Social distancing will reduce the social interaction between people in order to reduce the transmission of Coronavirus. Our priority at our Chamber events and delivering training will always be the health and safety of our Members, attendees and employees.
At this point the Chamber continues our training programme, in line with guidance that education providers do not yet need to close. We will continue to monitor the situation carefully and will follow any Government and Public Health England advice.
We have reluctantly made the decision that some seminars, business events, and training that requires use of shared equipment, will not go ahead, in order to minimize the risk to staff and delegates. All decisions are being communicated directly to registered attendees and via our social media channels.
We recommend Members keep themselves up to date with the Government’s latest advice, and NHS information on the virus and how to protect yourselves. Our Business Support team are available on 01744 742015 and can provide information.
